The European Union recently issued a call for comments on what the role of open source should be in its pursuit of digital sovereignty. The result: 500+ pdf documents and 2000+ comments collected. How can this unstructured data be analyzed to support regulatory decisions?

Enter Semiont, an open source Human+AI knowledge platform. It can be used to build Wikis, Knowledge Bases, Semantic Layers, Context Graphs, or Agentic Memory.

This meetup will consist of two 30 minute talks:

Using Semiont to Build a Knowledge Graph - a new open source framework that allows a user to build a knowledge graph using common tools such as Claude Desktop or OpenClaw.  The main output is a "Knowedge Base", which includes and event log that can define a knowledge graph. Semiont will be used to transform the EU data set into a knowledge graph.

Using a Semiont Knowledge Graph for Digital Sovereignty Decision Support - With the right tooling, a knowledge graph can be presented as a familiar wiki, allowing a non-technical user to explore relationships between entities using hyperlinks, text, and images. In this talk, we will transform the EU knowledge graph into a functioning wiki, which will then be used for e-discovery and annotated decision support.
